Description
Areas frequented by wolves and passage corridors linking slopes and valleys have been identified in the project area, both through observation and photo-trap captures, in coordination with farmers. surveys of farmers in the area revealed that, despite the significant progress made thanks to the various studies carried out by the mercantour national park and the office français de la biodiversité (french biodiversity office), a number of questions remain, particularly concerning the identification, behaviour and movements of individuals and packs. faced with predation, livestock farmers have to implement protection strategies based on the specific conditions of their area and their farm. this project is designed to help farmers develop their prevention strategies by providing them with the keys to understanding and up-to-date data on their area, through exchanges and a participative, collaborative approach.
