Pre-mediation, diagnostic and capacity-building actions on the social conflict linked to the coexistence of wolves and extensive livestock farming in Álava

In Alava, extensive livestock farming plays a key role in the conservation of pastures of high ecological value. However, the recent increase in wolf attacks following its inclusion in the list of protected species has generated concern in the sector. This project seeks to reactivate dialogue and participation processes to reduce conflict, promote coexistence between livestock and wolves, and reinforce the positive role of extensive livestock farming in the conservation of the rural environment.
