Description
Spearheaded by three AgroParisTech students with a passion for mountain environments, the project involves a 1670 km pedestrian crossing of the Alps, from Nice to Ljubljana, over a period of five months.
This committed journey combines sporting performance and raising awareness of the need to preserve the Alpine environment. Crossing 4 countries, 11 national and nature parks, as well as a wide variety of agricultural territories and environmental management models, the project offers a comparative approach to the challenges of biodiversity and mountain ecosystems. Particular attention is paid to the cohabitation of humans and wildlife, with a particular focus on the wolf issue, in order to enrich reflection on the modalities of sustainable coexistence.
