Description
The goal of this project is to collect as much data as possible in order to improve the knowledge about the numbers and distribution range of 4 galliform species (black grouse (Lyrurus tetrix), rock ptarmigan (Lagopus muta), rock partridge (Alectoris graeca), hazel grouse (Tetrastes bonasia)). The projects aims to identify hazards that impact, positively or negatively, these iconic species of the mountain environment, yet largely unknown to the general public. Better knowledge of these emblematic species is an important conservation issue.
